Reviews of Hotel Viadero

Arthur
The hotel had basic but clean rooms, with well-appointed bathrooms. The location was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing Easter break. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and lift facilities.
The food selection was limited and not very appetizing. The dining area felt like a canteen and lacked atmosphere.

truth is that I had read not very good reviews after making the reservation, I was impressed that nothing of what those reviews said was true. hotel does deserve the stars it has, impeccable reception. We arrived at 12:00 and by 12:30 we were in the room, reservation said that from 14:00 onwards. room is clean and big, we are a family of two adults, girl (also adult) and little one. They gave us a double room with an extra large double bed and two small beds, all separated by a sliding door. normal bathroom, small if necessary. a terrace with two tables, chair and sun lounger. first time they gave me a room like that, it was called "Villa... ". very normal and basic breakfast, careful.
It's a little far from the beach, and parking is difficult if you don't leave it in the parking lot. The pool's a little lonely, not for people, but for atmosphere

PERSONNEL of the hotel is very kind, receptionist (we arrived very early and they offered us to keep our bags so that we could enjoy the beach while they prepared the room) and girls who attended the breakfast room, who were super attentive at all times. The room and bathroom surprised me for good and breakfast seemed super complete. the SWIMMING POOL is a plus. because even though it was cloudy one day, we could go down to read and rest, Finally. I would like to add that the LOCATION is one of the most favourable points of the hotel, as it is only a few minutes away from the beach, from one of the central squares and from many bars and restaurants,
To say the least, the pool area looked unkempt, like the grass or some of the fences had some dirt on them, but it's nothing that affects the room.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was just perfect, with the moon surface-like beach and the lively town square right nearby. We loved being able to easily access the main square with its restaurants, shops, and cafes, as well as stroll to the beach in just a short distance. The hotel itself was everything we hoped for, with a nice looking restaurant that matched the photos on the web site. The service was top-notch, with helpful staff and a range of amenities available, including room service, bicycle hire, and housekeeping.
We would highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

And finally, I would like to say that the staff was nice, and had good cleanliness, but I do think that inspection should keep an eye on those contracts because the receptionist put in more hours than legally stipulated.
The truth is that I am quite surprised by the positive comments I read here and on google about this hotel. My experience has nothing to do with what I have found on the networks. To begin with, I don't understand how they could have given 4 stars to this hotel, because nothing could be further from the truth. We entered the room and it was too hot, we put the air conditioning and surprise: only hot air comes out (apparently it broke down, but that lasts 3 days that we have been have not been solved .. Suspicious). We hope that the extra bed is not the most comfortable in the world, but that you nail the spring . It is too much, if at least the rest of the beds would be good. But they were already very uncomfortable, not to mention the pillows, which supported you on them and you sank, like paper. If it is true, that we asked for some pillows in reception and they gave them to us, but other equal ones, so nothing, to sleep with double pillow.. Regarding the bathroom, I'm not going to mess with the amenities, there was no trace of them, but if you put a device attached to the wall sink, that less than empty. As well as you put a roll of toilet paper which is missing two laps to finish, yes, you have to think about the environment, but .. That we are not in a hostel, but in a hotel that in theory has 4 stars.. Could it be that being a triple room they don't take care of the guest? It certainly hasn't happened to us in other places. Of course, for my part, I wouldn't even step in it.

The best, without a doubt, is the hotel staff, both at the reception and at the buffet, as well as the cleaning staff. Our room had an open terrace, very comfortable, cooler than the room! The location is good, 10 minutes from the beach of Trengandin and next to the square. The other beach is about a kilometer
air conditioning in the room only worked for one day, rest was just a little bit of air that could cool the room. So we had to sleep with the window open listening to the concerts, karaoke... getting up in the middle of the night to close for storms or to lower the blind in the morning... we spent a lot of heat in the room and air conditioning was one of our requirements when we looked for a hotel. We warned downstairs that it might have gone off from there, it only worked well for a day. hairdryer was not working either, we commented at reception and they took note by offering us a hand dryer (the staff is very attentive). truth is that it seemed that the dryer had not been working for a long time, it was quite sticky to the touch... buffet... lot of industrial baked goods. To me the worst thing, that the bacon is not bacon, it looks like some kind of bologna strips, orange juice is from a jar. nice pool has a Jacuzzi part but it doesn't work.

Key Location and Good Staff Service
Stayed here for Xmas. The location is great, with easy access to shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. We appreciated the good WiFi connection.
Breakfast was especially disappointing with a lack of variety. The service during meal times was slow and disorganized.

Close to town centre amenities, restaurants, shops and cafes. Unique air conditioning feature. Convenient location near town square and beach. Abundance of tourist attractions nearby.
Everything was spot on.

This hotel had everything I needed for a perfect stay in this city. The location was amazing; it was close to the main square with all the restaurants, shops, and cafes, and just a short walk away from the beach. The hotel facilities were immaculate, especially the nice-looking restaurant which was exactly like the photos on the website. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making my experience even better.
Everything was fantastic.

The hotel is in a great location, being near a nice looking restaurant and within walking distance to a moon surface like beach. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are nice. The breakfast provided has a variety of options. there are lifts and electric window shutters available in the rooms.
Some staff members may lack caring attitudes and the hotel may lack a lounge area.
